NEXT.
Students entered Steelcase's National Competition, creating hybrid centered designs for a new robotics company located on the Boston Seaport. Each school submitted two designs to the competition.
This design was chosen to represent Syracuse University in the 2023 Steelcase NEXT competition.

While they wait, guests can explore interactive areas, which provide a variety of accessible seating options.
Floor and ceiling shaping guide occupants towards the worker’s corridor or the social core.

Work Cafe
The Work Cafe provides space for employees to escape the workplace and enjoy food and relaxation.
The cafe offers a variety of seating configurations, allowing for large groups, individuals, private, relaxed, and working setups.
NEXT’s Work Cafe promotes connection through varying levels of social interaction.

Home Office Lab
NEXT’s Home Office Lab demonstrates what a home office would look like using NEXT products and ideals.
NEXT home offices prioritize multiuse spaces and flexible furniture to adapt to customer needs, providing a choice of work configurations in each space.
This lab is placed in the reception area, allowing consumers to experience NEXT design while waiting to enter the office.
